A: Yes! VegKentucky is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting plant-based living and community connections across Kentucky.

Q: How are donations used?
A: Your donation supports all aspects of VegKentucky’s work - from our weekly meal service and food donations to community events, Supper Club dinners, Louisville VegFest, and educational programs. Funds will also help us expand in 2026 by partnering with hospitals and schools, collaborating with city and state leaders, and hosting additional vegan festivals and community markets across Kentucky. Every gift helps make plant-based living more accessible, affordable, and appealing throughout the state.

Q: What has VegKentucky accomplished so far?
A: Since launching in January 2025, we’ve:

  • Provided healthy, affordable meals through our weekly meal service.

  • Catered plant-based meals to medical schools to train future doctors.

  • Hosted workshops, pop-up events, and our monthly Supper Club.

  • Presented Louisville VegFest, the largest vegan food festival in Kentucky!
